My friend and I bought a pair each. We like dock shooting and we played in my back yard and we enjoyed shooting to a bucket with the new Rods. They are a great rod for casting also. We’re glad we bought them and we’re going to order more as soon as we can make our minds up on sizes. FCOX Leesburg,Ga

Being a Florida Kayak Fisherman the 6.6′ dockshooter is a perfect rod!

My last dock shooting rod was a Lew’s Speed Shooter and this rod out performs it. It not only will shoot a jig further but it is also lighter. I only wish it was offered with a super grip. I’m very impressed with this rod.

This is my third 6’6″ rod. It’s perfect for slow rolling a jig or shooting docks. Can’t say enough about it.

This is an excellent rod! Very sensitive. Didn’t catch any crappie but did catch some bass. Definitely recommend this rod. Thank you ACC Crappie Stix.

This is a great rod. I have been using it casting for crappie out of my boat. Very sensitive and lightweight. Has just the right amount of flex in the rod when you hook a big Crappie to work them out of the brush. I tried it for dock shooting the other day, and it is just the right length for me.

Would love to have this rod but I’m not a fan of a two piece rod. Want the 6’6 for my application. Maybe one piece option sometime

Hey Lee, thanks for your feedback. No plans right now to make a 1 piece 6’6. Only have the 5′ and 5’6 one piece currently.

These are some of the best rods I’ve ever bought and got a lot of back bone for fishing. You can’t beat the price for your money. I just bought 2 more.

I have a few different size acc crappie stix now and this is by far my favorite. All rods are sensitive, however this rod feels the best to me in every aspect. Can fish all day with it. If I could only pick one rod, this would be the one for sure.

This Rod is one of the best rods I’ve ever bought, super light and it has a lot of back bone for fishing. You can’t beat the price for your money on these rods. I ended up using it most of the day while my other rods laid idle on the deck… I read about them, but until you pick one up and use it, you will never know the feel and light weight it has, that’s a fact! I will be ordering some more soon in a different length…

I bought the 6’6″ spinning rod to replace my daiwa presso. I really wanted to like it but it’s just too stiff. I see why some like it but to me it’s like throwing a broom handle.

Sorry to hear it’s not for you. Our rods aren’t made to be ultra light / whippy when casting. Hopefully you find one you like!

Great rod, medium action a little heavy for me at time a medium light would also be great. Overall a great rod for panfish.

This is by far the best most sensitive rod I have used! I’m a fishing guide and my customers even want to know where I get my rods. I will definitely buy these every time over and over!

Light weight for all day fishing. At my age 72 is what I need. The action is as described.

Bought this rod and paired it with a Plueger President 20. This rod and reel combo is extremely lightweight. I have used it on my 4 acre pond to catch sunfish and the occasional crappie. I am extremely pleased with the distances I have been able to throw a 1/16 ounce jig. The rod has plenty of backbone as I was able to lift the crappie right out of the water when fishing from my dock.
The website description says it is a medium action with a medium tip, on my rod it says medium action/fast tip. I will say that whatever it is, I love it! This is my second ACC Crappie rod, I had purchased the 7’6″ rod in late 2020. They both are great rods.

Great rod for the price the only thing I would change is the reel seat, I would have the nut in front of the reel, it keeps working loose behind it (I know that’s another use for electrician tape). I have 18 acc crappie stick’s but would really like to see you offer a 6’6” one piece.

Bought one to try and ordered 2 more.
Haven’t been dock shooting yet. But slip corking and casting small jigs works like a charm. Easily swinging crappie in or over the boat.

I have the GS76SG, my wife tried mine and liked it but it is a little long for her, so I bought her this rod as an early Christmas present. Now that I have had this rod in my hands, I may have to get one for myself. Never enough rods, eh? 🙂

I am very impressed with this rod. I have paired it with a piscifun 1000 reel 4# mono and have landed several 4-6 pound catfish as well as a few larger Asian carp tail hooked while vertical jigging in my local river. It had held up well, I have not babied this rod

I have sent two email messages from your website to report an issue with my purchase and delivery on 2/12/2022 and have yet to get a reply from ACC. so much hype for a rod and poor customer service. I guess the only way to comunicate with ACC is thru social media. No phone number where to call. Very dissatisfied. Edgar

I absolutely love my new rod! I have used an ACC 5′ 6″ dock shooter for several years to fish from docks and I love it. I even landed a 6lb channel cat on it with no problems. When my old Gander Mountain rod got broken on a recent trip to Florida it was a no-brainer to order up a new ACC rod. I’ve already takin it saugeye fishing and love the sensitivity. I can feel everything on this rod and yet I know that it will handle pretty much anything I catch on it. I cant wait to get some crappie on it this spring.

I received the rod on February 26, 2022 and I went creek fishing on February 27, 2022. The guy who went with me had exactly the same setup as me except he did not have the same rod as this rod. I caught more than 12 crappies and he caught nothing. I think this proves how good this rod is! I will definitely buy more rods with different lengths. I recommend this rod strongly.

The sensitivity of this rod is unparalleled. You can feel the most subtle bites. This rod will allow you to catch more fish on the sensitivity and feel alone. Highly recommended!

My first time out “dock shooting”. This rod made the learning curve disappear after just a few practice sessions in the drive way. Highly recommend these rods. My wife also is impressed with her 5’5” rod. Good stuff “y’all”!

I bought two of these 6’6″ for crappie fishing about 3 years ago but started using them more recently in the winter for trout and sucker fishing, they work great these are the only rods I will buy from now on. They are very light weight and have the perfect amount of backbone. I noticed the prices have gone up since I bought these rods a while back ago but they are still a fair price and definitely worth it. I paired mine up with a KastKing Zephyr reel 1000 you wont be disappointed. My only complaint with these rods are they don’t make enough one piece rods, a 7ft full cork grip one would be perfect also I am not a fan of the bottom eyelet I know it is suppose to make it cast farther but I had opposite experiences especially if you have fresh line on your reel that is still a little twisty it will get jammed up in the eyelet I feel it is too small of a opening and I can’t cast as far as I would with similar rods that have a regular eyelet. I plan to get 2 of the 8ft ones in the future as well to see how it will handle catfish even though they are meant for crappie I think they will do good and be really fun.

Best rod hands down. Love the eyes. Ladies love the tip. Sensitive but firm. Feel all the action. Strong backbone to set the hook and flexible enough to not rip the lips off. Well crafted, fast shipping, best customer service. I will continue to buy more rods and this is my go to favorite. Aloha bruddahs. Hook em, cook em, small kine grindz.
