I was curious about new med/lt action offering so I odrdered this rod as well as the 8′ Tennessee handle on day 1. (will review the 8′ Tenn soon) the action a is night/day difference from the norm Acc med action rods. It’s somewhere between a buggy whip and a radio antenna. The handle is AWESOME, I really like the shorter fore grip. If there were to be any improvement, I’d add a couple of inches to the rear for balance (or the ability to add weights). The larger guides should be the new standard. bobber stops glide through them like butta!!!! For the action of this rod, it’ll probably be a dedicated vertical jigging rod for big lake perch.

Like the length & feel of the rod, probably won’t get to use it until spring, so will see how that goes?

This quickly replaced my favorite crappie rods. It’s incredibly light, it floats, and it’s more sensitive than a nerve ending. It doesn’t feel overly flimsy either. I’ve already put the brakes on a few unexpected bass and cats. It also has a great bend to maintain tension on the line. I love the versatility. I’m using it for dock shooting and vertical Jigging. No complaints here so far. I haven’t tried boat flipping anything over a pound but I wouldn’t put it past this puppy.

I have 5 of your rods so far a 7.5, 8, 10,12 ft and now the 7ft one one piece and it’s my favorite so far, light and very sensitive , and I love the old school eyes on it, my bobber stops glide straight through now. If you do anything different add 6 inches to it and I’ll buy it to. I’m ordering another like this in the spring, maybe 2, 😆, for now I’ve got lots of hunting to do. Thanks guys for a great rod, I love all of them so far

I’ve got 3 ACC poles now, although I broke one the other day (I was traumatic about it). 6’6″, this model of 7′ one piece, and a 10′ 2 piece. They each have a purpose on my boat. That being said, this is the first fishing pole I reach for though when i start a fishing trip.
I have it paired up with a small Lew’s spinning reel and 12 pound braid and it’s a slab catching machine !
I prefer the one piece over the 2 piece and when given the opportunity I will always go with a 1 piece. I love how sensitive it is as well. If they breathe on it, you’ll know.
Hoping as time goes on I’ll be able to replace all the fishing poles in my boat with ACC Crappie Stix. Great fishing rods.

Rod is super sensitive. Could feel tiny bites fishing from the dock. The grip feels really good in my hand. I paired this rod with a Daiwa Regal LT 1000D.

Bought it for my 10 year old son, definitely guilty of using it while he takes a break, awesome rod, great all around. Light weight, comfort feel, couldnt be happier. Will have to get myself one in future.

I just received the 7 foot med/light crappie stix yesterday. Although cold and windy here in NE Iowa and the fish are not biting yet I slapped a reel onto it and headed to the lake. The rod has a lot lighter action than I was expecting. What I did like is the casting ability with a 1/16 oz. jig even with the wind blowing 25 MPH. What I am concerned about is being able to flip any thing over a pound into the boat without snapping the rod. Has anyone been able to get out and really put this rod to the test??

I have a St Croix Panfish Rod and I really like it… But I love this rod! I just ordered my second one. They are light, well balanced, sensitive and the grip is terrific. I bought a cheaper reel to go on it after reading it actually matched well with it. It is ok but not the best I have used. So I’m trying one of my better reels on it next weekend, I’m sure I’ll love that setup even more.

I bought one of these magnificent rods to try it and as soon as I tried it on blue gills, I bought another. To me the best gill and crappie rod I ever used plus it is lite and sensitive with a backbone. Very happy with these purchases. I now have 3, 7- footers and an 8-footer. Love them!

Perfect, as advertised it has a sensitive tip can really feel the bites. Plenty of backbone gives easy repeatable hook sets and can get them in the boat easily…… plan to purchase another one

I was hesitant on getting this rod due to the price, which isn’t bad, but being on a fixed income it was a hard decision to make. I’m so happy that that I decided to get it because it is the best panfish rod I’ve ever used in over 30 years of fishing. The first time I took it out I caught a crappie and largemouth bass. Today I caught over 20 bluegill with it. I felt every little nibble and and didn’t miss a strike. I’ll definitely be getting more as soon as I’m able to. I have it paired with a Piscifun carbon x II and its extremely lightweight.

This was my first ACC rod, when I say you can feel everything, I mean everything. So sensitive, but not to soft like some rods.. And strong man. I was jigging a brush pile and something got on that pulling to rod down in the water and my nasci500 was screaming. I was letting it run then it. Snapped the 6lb flouro like it was nothing but the rod had no issues. As soon as I sell my two Mr Crappie rods going to get a 10′ and 11′ don’t wait just get one
