This is my go to rod. I vertical jig for crappie 99% of the time. Light weight with great backbone. I have swung a 2lb 8oz crappie in the boat with this rod. I recommend using a net though.

I love this rod! I use it for crappie fishing in Columbus Ohio and it’s so good. It’s smooth, light, strong, the reel is just right for crappie fishing, the price was excellent. It’s just great! I picked up the Lews Mach II based on a review I read here and it really is a good fit for the job.
Also I just found out Fisherman’s Warehouse down here on the south end of Columbus has a whole rack of ACC Crappie Stix, which is right by my house, so that’s also sweet.
Would recommend this rod for crappie fishing from land.

Love the feel and strength of this rod. It was my first crappie stix rod, but it wasn’t my last as I have bought 4 more since. I normally use name brand poles, reels and lures but happed to come across this company. I normally use Abu Garcia poles but compared to them this is definitely worth the money for what there selling for. Just received my GS10M after using it its great. Remember its a 10 foot pole so its not like a 7 footer but its made great and feels good, light weight and came with a nice rode sleeve. If you got extra money and want to try fishing a different way I would definitely buy one it made catching pan fish way better and when you do hook up to something big (Large and Small Mouth Bass) its awesome. Using bobbers and leaders and going for crappie with this rod is a A+++ definitely would use a net though its way easier to land fish.

First time using a crappie rod of this length and was amazed at first the appearance/asthetics and overall balance and feel of the rod. Second was how easy it is to very accurately toss jigs to structure you can’t really vertically jig. Next was the sensitivity. Knew immediately when I had a hit or if there was moss/grass on the lure. Lastly was amazed at how easily you could flip 12 and 13″ thick backed crappie into the boat with this rod. Definitely adding more to my arsenal.

Bought my first acc 10′ crappie stix!!! First catch was a 8 lb 7 oz striper in my crappie hole!!! Crappie stix was bent in half and pulled the big 1 in. Awesome pole with a strong back bone. Skeptical at first but made a believer out of me. Acc customer for life!!!

Great rod. Have fished it alot in pre spawn jiging over schools in 25 ft of water. Using 1/16 oz weight with a Kalin twister in 2 inch. Rod very has a tip that detects the slightest tick and has backbone to keep pressure on line. I have trolled with it as well using #5 flicker shad at .09 to 1 mph and have had no trouble catching crappie. Highly recommend!

The last couple of guided trips I’ve done on Lake Palestine,I’ve used my 10′ ACC rod. Very lightweight and durable thus far while fishing timber.
