This is my second tip. The first two I broke, one mess my fault, I closed it in the rod box, the second one was lifting a crappie in the boat. Probably just a freak thing.

Factory defect
I am an avid crappie fisherman on Santee Cooper Lakes. I have several friends that have experienced tips breaking at the second eye from the joint and about 4 – 5 inches from the joint on the reel side of the joint. I had one break in this location on the second fish. I know this rod had no previous damage on my part. You guys replaced the butt part of the rod and I really appreciate that. Rod feels great even more sensitive than a Sam Heaton or B&M gold, which is what I prefer on B&M poles. I really hope you all get this problem figured out. I would also lose the orange tip.
