This is a nice light rod with plenty of backbone!! I matched it with a reel spooled with 6 lb. mono. I can feel the lightest taps when crappie hit. I primarily use it for crappie and white bass and an occasional walleye trip.

I have four ACC Crappie Stix in my arsenal at this time, and just ordered the 5’6” dock shooter. These rods help you feel everything in the water, wether it is the lightest most subtle bites, thin stringy moss, rocks, or other structure, you will be able to feel everything through these rods. To get the most sensitivity out of the rod though, you should perfectly match/balance the rod with the appropriate sized reel and top quality line (don’t skimp here). I bought a five foot rod for my wife, and balanced it with a Diawa Regal LT reel and 4lb high vis line. This combo is absolutely a killer when around docks or under low bridges.
My ONLY issue lies with the USPS shipping on the last rod ordered. It has now been fourteen days, and still waiting (The other four rods were all delivered on time within five days as scheduled), so I’ll just have to wait for the latest one a few more days it seems. The USPS employee who responded to my lost package claim gave her response as, “ Don’t you have another rod to fish with?” My reply to her was, “Why, yes, Yes I do… I have over 40 rods, but not this rod”. Lol.
Do not let the shipping issue worry you though, these rods are light, strong, and very sensitive, and well worth the wait (if delayed at all) so order yours as soon as they are in stock.

I got this one as the longer ones are out of stock, it is a good size for fishing off end of my boat dock. Honestly I gave it a 4 because of the color.. We tend to trust our neighbors at the dock (secured dock) but if they see the green I am afraid it will go bye bye,, and being one piece I can’t break it down to hide it better.. I know it is your signature but I would have bought a black one had you had it.

Bought the 56 spinning road for crappie, blue gill and sunfish and ended up hauling in a 3 lb. largemouth on 4 lb. test and a 1/32 oz jig. The rod handled this haus like nobodies business. Bought this as a Christmas present for my dad. They live in Arkansas catching slobs off their docks and was due for an upgrade. When I pulled it out of the rod tube, I thought about keeping it for myself! Was to my door in less than a week and was well protected being in a sweet rod sleeve and the rod tube. Rod just looks cool and feels even better. Light as a feather with a seemingly good backbone and great tip action. Talked to him and he has absolutely been crushing the crappie on it! He is in love. Not dock shooting but just finished a good day on river catching white bass. Multiple fish over 2 lbs and just lifted them right into the boat. A friend who was with me, who makes custom rods, stated that he was very impressed with the backbone of this rod. It was a real pleasure to fish with it all day today. We had 45 keepers. I own now. 6 crappie Stix rods. Their all honestly the best rods I have ever used!! I have owned lots of major brands and none compare. The action and the rod weight is right on the money!!! Most I top off with Kastking reels which are also light weight and loaded with bearings. Any rod length you use try ACC in that length and you’ll be on board too!!! Have a great fishing year!!!
