I paired this with my Pflueger Presidential SP20 spooled with 6# Fireline original smoke. The first weekend out I spent around 20 total hours catching some 150 or so panfish and bass. Sunfish averaged 3/4#-1#, Crappies were 3/4#-1.5# and the bass up to 3# or so. One day was windy so casting a bobber and being able to set the hook made a long rod a necessity. The backbone on this rod was amazing yet the end was flexible enough to really enjoy the fight! I wish I could upload a video to truly show how it performed, words can only do so much. I am ordering a couple in different lengths for different applications. This is hands down the best panfish rod I’ve used. Thank you!!

I bought this rod last minute before fishing one day and didn’t feel good about the price not knowing anything about the brand. After using it solely as my favorite for months now because of the sensitivity and strength when needed. I feel snags before the snag, feel every tap with no doubt its fish and not a stump. Feels good and light weight, fish for hours(chunk and wind) and doesn’t wear me out. I’m a dedicated “Crappie Stix” customer now!

This is my go to rod for crappie fishing. I can cast with it, vertical jig, or jig ‘n bobber. I have 6 of the 8’ green series on my deck at all times. I tend to use lighter weight 1/32, 1/24, and 1/16 oz jigs and this rod casts them all. Great all around sensitive rod that can handle the bass and catfish that invade our crappie baits.

The best no holds barred panfish rod in the business. I dont want to use anything else. From the smallest bream to 2lb crappie and the 2 to 3 pound bass i ocasionally catch while crappie and perch fishing this rod handles them all. Great for flipping over the side of my pontoon fishing boat and the bite feel is sweet. I caught a 8 or 9 pound blue cat cruising brush the week before last and it handled it like a champ. I did net the cat, too much fish for lifting on 4lb test and a gold aberdeen hook. If i had to choose one rod, it would be a 8ft ACC Crappie Stix. I want 2 of the 6 ft in my arsenal next.

I’ve fished for Crappie my whole life and always used bargain rods. After picking my new Acc Crappie Stik from Anglers Pro Tackle . I have been missing out all these years. Rigged with braid and floro leader, the Sensitivity is just crazy. All I have to say is you truly get what you pay . This thing is an all-around awesome Crappie fishing rod.
Thanks so much

I bought this rod at the fishing show and the first fish that I caught on it was a 13″ crappie. I float and fly fish in 18″-10′ of water and this rod looks and feels unlike any other rod that I have ever used. It does not feel like a willow limb. It has the right flex exactly were it needs it but is sensitive enough to feel the bite even before the float moves. I will be replacing my other brand rods and going exclusively with ACC.

Received on Friday and fished with it Saturday. I am 72 Years old and have used many many different rods for crappie fishing on Kentucky lake with rods costing twice the price as the ACC GS08M crappie stik. This rod ranks at the very top of the list. Paired it with a Lew’s MH2 300 spinning reel. Talking about AWESOME!

I purchased my first 8′ acc over a year ago. I have caught tons of crappie with this super sensitive versatile casting/jigging rod. What really impressed me is the other fish it has been able to put in my boat/kayak. Catfish, bass, drum, white bass, even some great perch and bluegill. This is an absolutely amazing rod! Must have for the discerning fisherman!!

I have had mine for just over a year. This rod has amazing sensitivity along with the back bone needed to boat big fish. I use this rod for both vertical jigging and casting. I have caught tons of crappie along with big bass, catfish, white bass, drum and bluegill. If it bites this rod can handle getting it in your boat or kayak!

Bought this rod as a Lake Michigan perch rod. After feeling it I tied a 1/2 oz tube jig on it and started jigging for lake trout with it. After catching and handling a dozen 12-18 lbs lakers this is now one of my favorite rods for jigging and twitching. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause of the eyes. If this rod had recoil eyes on it I would order 5 more. The first eye isn’t your standard eye and I had a few hang-ups on it. Still, this rod, in my opinion is more then just a crappie rod. It’s a great walleye, trout, salmon and bass rod as well.

I am first time user of the acc crappie stix. i have the 8′ two piece and the first time out with it we slammed the crappie, and even caught a 4.5 lb hybrid striper. Handled that fish with no problem all !! Very sensitive, but also very durable with backbone. I have the 6’6″ two piece on the way. Will be my go to rod from here on out.

I am a full time guide for crappie. I have used almost every crappie rod made. once I used the 8ft ACC Crappie Stix rod I fell in love. I use the 7-6 if I am casting to the bank. These rods are by fare the superior to anything I have used. I am going to experience dock shooting with the shorter rods and will leave my opinion on those once I have a review.

I purchased this rod a few weeks ago as a multi-purpose crappie rod. I vertical jig and cast a lot and this rod is fantastic for both. I could tell the high quality of this rod when I picked it up for the first time compared to some of my other rods that cost more. I do not submit reviews often but I thought this rod deserved a quality review for such a good product!

THE best crappie rod I’ve owned. Can feel even the slightest nibble from crappie, but has some serious backbone for pulling in slabs. I recently caught a 4lb 9oz largemouth bass with this rod and was able to flip it up and lip him. Definitely recommend this rod. It’s super light, very sensitive and looks cool and flashy with the green. Only bad thing about ACC is they’re out of stock, which I guess isn’t really bad because it means it must be a great rod if they can’t keep up with the demand for them. I wish I would have ordered 2 or 3 at once. Don’t waste your money on any other rod brands, get you a Crappie Stix you won’t be disappointed

This is my first ACC rod to own and I love the feel and sensitivity of the rod !! I plan on ordering more when they’re off back order. I would get rid of my Denali rods for sure there is no comparison to them at all, I’m absoultely sold on the ACC brand !!!

I purchased this rod with the hope of it filling multiple fishing functions: a trolling/drifting rod for Crappie, a cane pole for jigging/bobber fishing, and a lightweight long spinning rod for panfish. I am not disappointed at all, in fact I am greatly surprised by how well it serves all of those purposes. The rod is well balanced, has just enough back bone to not be a “bull whip” and is the perfect length for pitching a bobber around docks or grasslines. I would/will buy more of these rods as my fishing prowess develops. I highly recommend these rods for anyone who has similar interests.

Great lightweight rod. Fish all day with no fatigue whatsoever. Have mine set up with a Lews MH2-200A reel, Suffix 832 braid, 15lb, neon green, with a mono leader supporting a double jig set up. Green rod, green reel, green line. Love it and get lots of questions. This is by far the most sensitive rod I have in my arsenal. I will be buying another to replace my Ugly Sticks.

After using this rod for a couple of years I think it’s the most sensitive rod made. My fishing buddies have all purchased one for themselves. That speaks toward the quality of this rod.it has enough backbone to lift a 2 lb. crappie into the boat yet you can feel the lightest tap.

I have ACC Crappie Stix rod from the entire line up and everyone of them has been great for me. I have 4 of the 8ft Crappie Stix and use them almost every time out. sensitivity is great and have even boated several large bass and catfish on these rods with no issues. This is my go to rod for my son when we are just cork and minnow fishing and work great. The best part about the rods is the price. The are very affordable for the quality you get. Great rods from a great company.

I’ve been looking at crappie rods for a while. Own a 9′ fiberglass and it’s ok. This takes it to another level! On shore, it’s fantastic for trout and whatever. I do most fishing from my kayak. I can cast, vertical jig and anything in between. Can’t go wrong with this one. Paired it with a 1000 size reel, PERFECT! NO REGRETS.

The best floater rod that I have, cast a floater with ease and still has amazing backbone so you can throw them slabs right in the boat and still so sensitive you can feel a crappie hit if you are rubber necking around watching other fishermen.

I bought this as a gift for my adult son. Put a 3000 size Johnny Morris reel with 15#braid and a 6’ flouro 4# braid. Keep breaking off the leader as his brake was set to tight. Used up the flouro leader and was able to pull jigs off of the wood with the braid. The rod is well made and affordable. He hasn’t done any vertical jigging with it yet but the casting end of use has been excellent.

This rod is so versatile, you can cast tiny jigs for pan fish, bobber rigs, troll cranks and they have enough backbone to haul in big ole fish. You can fish all day and not get tired holding it. Plus their super sensitive!

I tried it only 2x and gave to my son as a birthday gift along with a Diawa 1500 series reel…we hammered crappies this past March. And he loves this Rod! I am buying myself a new one now whenever they come in sensitive and easy to set hook as it’s very responsive sice. Great job. Mr. Daniel’s Northern California panfisherman.

I purchased a GS08M rod three weeks ago & am totally amazed. This is by far the most sensitive crappie rod I have ever held. “Light” biters don’t stand a chance. I can cast 8’ to 10’ further as well due to the guide system. I like it so well, I purchased another one as an early Christmas present for my brother. Thought I had messed up and bought a casting rod with a spinning reel cause the eyes are so small. The first eye is large. Had to look it up when I got home to make sure I got the right pole. Bout 3rd cast I made a bird’s nest at the first eye. Gonna watch closer for the cause of that. But it did cast good and accurate. Didn’t get on any fish to measure performance.
